what a lovely trip to Sutton for Alfold today, boys did well in the 35 mins played and had a bit of entertainment, bit gutted first start on pitch in so long doing some work instead of standing round. I might just stick to being linesman !!!!!

What a fabulous come back at the weekend from the reserve team lads, you showed true grit and determination. Very impressive and great drama for the spectators...heart attack for me!

Well done to all, let's keep it going. Believe in yourself and it will happen!

What a hard time being a manager can be. Made only worse when players let you down. Seriously though, I hope it doesn't get worse no one wants to see you put kit on Besty. Good luck at the weekend. There's always an away ticket if you need it.

The big question here is IF. We shall not be taking Horsham Baptists for granted as they knocked us out at this stage last year. We have had a friendly against them in pre season so both teams know what each other are about.

We'll take each cup game as it comes (hopefully there will be many!)As for opponents, I really don't mind but as a wish, if we got to the final, a tie against Plaistow would be terrific!

Good luck "Timmy!"

If Alfold Res make it through the next round of the Tony Kopp Cup, who would Best like to play next?
Will Best be offering any more drinks??

I would have happily paid out for a drink for everyone. It was the second game of the season and I have two goalkeepers, so one would assume that by giving them both a game will allow me to make a decision on who my number one will be. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend the Slinfold game (probably for the best!)and so I cannot make assumptions. Ok we conceded six goals but Slinfold have started well and I knew it would be a dodgy fixture. We'll bounce back, we did the same last year and we'll do it again.

I do not believe that the Slinfold match can be used to determine whether we are good enough to compete with "the high flyers" I know we are good enough, simple.

Do you think Matt changed the keeper so he wouldn't have to buy a drink for anyone? ?

Well done on winning the cup all at Alfold FC, a brilliant season. Paul has done well building on last season and with the four new players he bought in this season in the starting line-up on Monday the future is looking very bright indeed. I've become a fold follower without even realising it!!!
